JAM Media are looking for a talented Compositor to join our award winning team in Belfast on a live action/CGI hybrid TV production commencing in January 2021. We are looking for a hard-working, driven, talented and passionate individual, who has an eye for detail, to join our team. If you are ready for a fast paced production and are multi-talented, then JAM Media is the place for you!

Job Description: 

Constructing the final image by combining layers of previously-created material, including rendered computer animation, special effects, graphics, live action and static background plates.

Required Skills / Experience: 

  • A minimum of 2 years experience working in a professional environment within their discipline.
  • Extensive knowledge of current compositing software such as after effects & Nuke.
  • Knowledge of various other programmes including Photoshop.
  • Understand the 3D animation process, particularly lighting.
  • A good eye for composition, colour, light and shadow.
  • Good knowledge of chroma keying processes to include set extension, tracking and rig removal.
  • Talent to make artistic judgements.
  • Technical skills to make practical decisions.
  • Be able to analyse and solve problems.
  • Strong eye for detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under tight deadlines and time constraints.
  • Have respect for the procedures and requirements of a particular studio, production or pipeline.

Nuke & After Effects.
